Resolve Domain PC Unable to Access Server via Ethernet

Hey guys, not sure what else I am missing here, can't reach server via host or ip in file explorer lol, I can ping the IP, but not the host, already pointed dns to server, enabled smb, rebooted, pointed host file to server, network is private, tried setting up static ip, other user, same. tried to add server credentials to cred manager, also added them as generic credentials just to test, nothing...

i worked with Anthony on this yesterday.

we determined that on wifi it works fine, but via ethernet it doesn't ping or see server so maybe something in between that's not relaying the traffic?

i removed it from the domain and cannto readd it. it wont see DNS no matter what I do. I suggest to perform the network reset (reboot all devices including the modem, router etc)

I didn't reboot the modem, but router, server and PC's themselves. You can try modem and switch, but im not sure if that will help. I believe it may be a wiring issue. I called Jose with my recommended next steps

i do not agree with wiring issue. it receives the IP address from DHCP, so there is no wiring issue

I'll see if I can reboot everything now to see if that makes a difference

@all I rebooted the whole network and still the same, not sure what else to do here

have them buy a little dongle and put this pc on wifi 🙂?
