Hey guys, I have Maple Hill Family Dentistry office with a UPS issue. The battery is showing that a battery replacement is needed right? We already turned it off and on, and that icon still there and it's beeping. We managed to make everything work, but looks like the battery is dead?

**APC by Schneider Electric UPS** (model not fully visible) displaying **119V** on the LCD readout with the **"On Line"** indicator active. The **Load bar** appears partially filled, and a **battery status indicator** shows what appears to be a fault or warning symbol (red X visible on the battery icon). Three control buttons are visible across the top panel; the unit bears an **Energy Star** certification label.

**UPS Status Indicator Legend (partial panel view)**
The image shows a four-row reference table documenting UPS front-panel indicator icons and their meanings: **AVR** (Automatic Voltage Regulation, with two sub-states for low and high input voltage compensation), a **Mute** icon (audible alarm disabled when line is illuminated), a **Battery Error** icon (flashing = battery disconnected; steady = failed Self-Test or end-of-life battery), and an **On Battery** icon (UPS actively supplying battery backup power). No model numbers, serial numbers, or live readouts are visible; this is a static reference/legend graphic only.

yes, the battery is shot. either get a replacement battery or get a replacement unit.
the replacement battery is roughly $40-$60. if they can replace it themselves, then go for it. If they want us to come its the cost of the battery plus the visit.

1. Live with beeping
2. Replace Battery
3. Remove built in speaker with pliers ( my favorite)

There's a more sophisticated way for 3. step, with the speaker button at the top 🤣

It will keep beeping again as power is lost
