Fix Brother Scanner TWAIN Driver Installation Failure

Hi, has anyone been able to fix the issue with brother devices (scanners) where you install it, but it doesn't create the twain driver on the computer so you cannot use the scanner outside of brother print&scan? for Bracetown orthodontics, can't get a ads 1700w scanner to install properly, already did a clean install of it, reinstalled like 4 times, tried other profile, but the scanner driver won't install the TW driver of it, neither the WIA. I have faced this same scenario with other brother scanners (2750 for example) but never been able to fix it, and this office uses ortho2 so it needs the TW to be able to scan directly into their software 🫠

I've had this issue with Brother scanners/printers before - the fix was to delete anything brother related (program files x86, program files, registry , programdata, appdata , etc) and then reinstall it. I think the installer should show you that it is installing the scanner driver - in your case it probably is not showing that it is installing it (if you go to the advanced option when installing it )

how did you check the registry part, did you type brother on the search of regedit and delete every entry that came up? I recall trying that once but it took forever, and then I was getting some weird errors that I wasn't getting before, so it kinda got worst XD
