Dr Castillo has a new ISP and they sent us this, I'm not sure what to do. Should I change something on the wg?

This is a Verizon router setup card with handwritten network credentials. The card shows ESSID: **Verizon-74XLZ6**, WiFi password: **iambic7-zap-has**, and Admin Password: **BYNZZR33F**. Network configuration details include Static IP **100.12.7.231**, Primary DNS **68.237.161.12**, Secondary DNS **71.250.0.12**, Subnet Mask **255.255.255.0**, and Gateway **100.12.7.1**; a phone number **516 2749222** is handwritten at the top.

she is switching from spectrum to verizon, so verizon modem is already there, just need to find a time to make all the changes, WG currently has a static IP from spectrum modem

- Login to the WG, write down the current setup
- Change it to Verizon, apply changes
- Lose Internet
- Spend 100500 hours asking them to disconnect the Spectrum from the WG and connect the one Verizon one instead to the same port as Spectrum was connected
- Send someone onsite

connect Verizon to another port on the WG, configure it as the failover, disconnect Spectrum, see if that works.

thats the current info, so new should be i guess:
ip: 100.12.1.231 / 24
gw: 100.12.1.1
also need to check if verizon modem is on bridge mode, and never done the failover thing, but I can check and try o.o

The image shows a network interface configuration panel with four tabs: IPv4, IPv6, Secondary, and Advanced (IPv4 tab is active). Configuration Mode is set to **Static IP**, with IP Address **172.254.105.198 / 30** (subnet mask /30) and Gateway **172.254.105.197**.

You ask them to connect the Verizon modem to any empty port on the WG and let you know that port #. The rest we can do on our end

So verizon modem was plugged into a Verizon router, I bypassed it and put the verizon modem on port #3 on WG

**Router/Firewall Back Panel โ Cable and Port Configuration**
The device has a red and black chassis with labeled Ethernet ports: **0/WAN**, **1/LAN**, **2**, **3**, and **4**; a yellow cable is seated in port **0/WAN**, and three white cables occupy ports **1/LAN**, **2**, and **3**, with port **4** empty. A **Reset** button and a power rocker switch (currently in the **I/ON** position) are visible, along with a **12VDC** barrel connector with power cable attached. A Dell QR code sticker reads **dell.com/QRL/Workstation/5620T**, suggesting this device is mounted to or co-located with Dell Workstation 5620T equipment; no indicator lights, error codes, or visible physical damage are present in the frame.

@Sergey Starodub the static IP was 100.12.7.231, so we were mistaken the 7 with a 1 lol
