Hello, for Columbia Street Dental, Samantha wants to access dentrix from home to work on stuff, they were used to use this direct connection from their browser > https://hudsonserver.drbarrydm.com/rdweb/webclient/index.html which lead to some sort of remote app I guess, but this is no longer working, and not sure how was this setup, I have the feeling that we tried fixing this at some point, but she ended up saying that no longer needs it and it was never fixed. she says that doesn't want logmein since the pcs in the office might be in use, they have several vms, thought of maybe vpn + rdp but they have this ugly netgear router. what would be the best way to get her connected? she mentioned that @Albert Khaydatov helped a former employee connecting to dentrix in the past, but not sure if it was through this method, or something else, can't find anything about it, any thoughts?

**Hyper-V Manager on host "HUDSONSERVER"** displays six virtual machines: **VirtualPC-4 - Nikki** (Running, 0% CPU, 4096 MB, uptime 14:08:27:03), **VirtualPC-5 - Sam** (Running, 7% CPU, 8192 MB, uptime 00:24:27), **VirtualPC-6 - Andrew** (Saved), **VirtualPC-8 - Chris** (Running, 0% CPU, 7168 MB, uptime 14:08:26:47), **VirtualPC-9 - Anita** (Off), and **VirtualPCV11-1 - Jeff** (Saved). In the background, a browser shows the admin interface for a **NETGEAR Nighthawk R8000P** router at IP **192.168.1.1**, with a NETGEAR Armor activation prompt visible. The Actions panel on the right shows **VirtualPC-5 - Sam** is the currently selected VM, with a "Connect..." option visible at the bottom.

its the same idea as PDS - she has to be connected via VPN first for the RDS to work OR they might have had the web access that does not require the VPN connection but use of IIS server. OR VPN + web access. There are multiple ways, we just need to look into the setup

do they have the gateway server? you can check if there is a web access services installed or IIS server

I turned off direct RDP access because I initially warned their managers and local IT that they will get hacked and eventually they did. They have a few VM‘s that are in logmein and we can share it with her that way.

They don’t have firewall * capable of VPN

I see, there is a vm called Sam (maybe it used to be hers, not sure) it was off, should I login to it, install logmein and then share that access with her via logmein then? o.o
