HI, for Dental Group of Westchester, their NVR is not deleting old recordings to save new, all settings are looking good as far as I can tell, but this stopped saving new recordings last month, already try saving again all options and rebooting the NVR, but same, any suggestions? I see there is an option to format the drives, not sure if I should try that?

The screen displays the **Advanced Settings** page under **Configuration > Storage** in what appears to be a Hikvision IP camera or NVR web interface. **"Enable HDD Sleeping"** is unchecked, **"Enable Overwriting"** is checked, and **Packet Time** is set to **10 minute(s)**. No error messages or warning indicators are visible.

The image shows a **calendar date-picker UI widget** displaying **September 2024**. The date **24** is highlighted in a **red square**, indicating a selected date. Several dates appear to have **small blue triangle indicators** in the upper-left corners, and a **red "Search" button** is visible at the bottom of the widget.

I would format the drive and see how it goes.

so I checked again today and is not recording anything still, drives are empty since I formatted both last time, but still hasn't recorded a single date, any ideas?

either drives are bad or the NVR is messed up. Did we reboot it?

yeah, I did last time I was checking it, everything on the logs appears to be fine, not sure if there is a way to tell more accurately

also, I think this NVR is something we installed within past year. You might want to speak with Ross, and he most likely will ask you to call Andy from the CCTV store we purchase these NVRs. If its still under the warranty, Andy (or his associate) will ask for a remote session to check. Its ok to do.

so the guy fixed it in like 2 mins lol, he changed the recording schedule to "blue" which says its for auto-switch but he said is really for continuous recording, works better for third party cameras he said, and now is recording, not sure why the previous settings stopped working all of a sudden, but its working now, it was set to "motion" before

The screen displays a **Record Schedule** configuration interface for **[D1] IPCamera 01**, with recording **Enabled** and set to **Auto-Switch** mode across all seven days (Monday–Sunday), covering the full 24-hour period (0–24) as indicated by solid blue bars spanning each day's timeline. The schedule legend identifies six recording types: Auto-Switch (blue), Motion (green), Alarm (red), M|A (orange), Motion & Alarm (light blue), and Event (purple). No error codes or warning messages are visible; the interface shows a fully populated, uniform schedule with no gaps or alternate recording modes applied.
