does anyone happens to remember when dentrix stopped working for windows 8.1? doing an update here and 1 pc seems to be on windows 8.1, but office is currently running on dentrix version 24.12, I had the feeling that dentrix cut 8.1 a while ago... not sure if I continue it will work, or if it won't open at all lol

**Dentrix System Requirements checker** showing three computers flagged with a red **X** (failed): **CALLCENTER1**, **OP1**, and **REMOTE**. For CALLCENTER1, the only failing component is **Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1**, which does not meet the required **Windows 10 / Server 2016**; processor (4 cores @ 2.60 GHz), OS architecture (64-bit), RAM (5.89 GB), network (1.00 Gbps), and free space (720.65 GB) all pass. A warning prompt is displayed stating **"3 or more computers will be unable to install or may have performance issues,"** with options to continue or abort installation pending user confirmation.

The image shows the **Dentrix 24.17 System Requirements** document, specifically the **Server and Workstation Requirements** table. Two fields are highlighted in red/orange: **Operating System** (Workstation column: "Windows 10 and higher \*\*") and **OS Architecture** (Workstation column: "64-bit"). No error codes, indicator lights, or hardware identifiers are present; the highlight appears to be a manual annotation marking those two workstation specification fields for attention.
