Hey Guys, I'm having some issues with a sensor Gendex GXS-700 showing under devmgmt but the tool is not picking it up, I tried already updating Dexis I/O sensor drivers but sill, any suggestions?

**Device Manager** is open on a Windows system showing a **Gendex GXS-700** dental intraoral X-ray sensor listed under "Dental Intraoral X-ray Sensor" with the label **"Gendex GXS-700 Size 1 before renumeration"**, indicating the device has not completed USB enumeration. The **GXS-700 / DEXIS Platinum** dialog box is open on the **Information** tab, with all fields (Sensor, Friendly Name, Sensor Type, USB Version, Sensor Driver Version, Sensor Firmware Version, CPLD Version, RPC Version) blank except **DxPicture Version: 4.2.1**. No error codes are explicitly displayed, but the empty sensor fields combined with the "before renumeration" device label indicate the sensor is not fully recognized.

Hmm is that gxpicture? If so see if you can reinstall it or update it as a test

I could be wrong, but I recall there is an issue with Dexis sensors, where the pc reads it, but the software doesn't, I think it has to do with that "before remuneration" in device manager @Sergey Starodub does it ring a bell to you?

it does. this means few things - drivers did not get installed properly, sensor is having issues, or I;ve seen this with the Platinum sensors when the DexisSensor Library was not installed or the wrong version was installed

I ran a repair to GXpicture on Dexis software manager, then they connected the sensor directly and it's being detected now on one of the rooms

**Prof.Suni dental imaging software** is open with patient "Pritchard, Terry" loaded. A **Sensor Capture** dialog is displayed showing the message **"Sensor Ready"** with the manufacturer identified as **"Gendex"**. A right-click context menu is partially visible in the lower right, showing options: **"Information…," "Image Settings,"** and **"Service."**

Tech A

Yes the calibration files are all there

Now we have this message

image.png
**Gendex Interface Error 2** dialog box is displayed on a Windows desktop. The message reads: *"The Gendex interface could not be created. Please be sure that there are enough system resources available."* A single **OK** button is present to dismiss the dialog; no additional error codes or numeric identifiers are visible beyond the title designation "Error 2."

And this one

**DEXIS Software — Hardware Error Dialog**
A Windows-style error dialog titled **"Hardware error"** displays the message: *"A hardware error has occurred. Please disconnect and reconnect the device. If the condition persists, please contact DEXIS Technical Support."* The dialog contains a red circle/X error icon and a single **OK** button; no error code or numeric identifier is visible.

But we were able to take one image
image/png
image.png
The image shows a software window with the title bar labeled **"STB Tak..."** (truncated), with standard minimize, maximize, and close controls visible. The main content area of the window displays a **heavily corrupted or noise-filled screen** — the display consists of dense, horizontal scan-line artifacts or static, rendering any text or data within the window body **unreadable**. No error codes, numeric readouts, or diagnostic information can be discerned from the corrupted display area.
