Hey guys, I'm having an issue with Sidexis XG. It works properly, but when I try to take an Xray it keeps buffering, and nothing happens. I already restarted they RCUSERVER, but I think that this has something to do with their devices added at the manager. I'm trying to access the device manager at Sidexis, but takes too long to open. Any ideas?

Is there iGPU? The software might use iGPU instead of dedicated GPU
Tech A 2025-01-14 13:56
I think that the device that they use is already approved

**Configuration of the X-ray Components** dialog box is open on the **Local Approvals** tab. The computer listed is **OP3**, with one approved entry named **Galileos** showing **15** computers, with a checkmark in the **Approved** column. The dialog also contains tabs for **Sensors**, **Attributes**, and **Print/About**, with **OK**, **Cancel**, and **Apply** buttons at the bottom.

There's only 1 component here, Galileos. Computer is approved already on that list

**Sirona Control Admin – X-Ray Component Configuration Window** The "Configuration of the X-ray components" dialog is open, displaying a component tree listing: **GALILEOS**, **Galileos** (currently selected/highlighted in blue), **ORTHOPHOS DS**, **ORTHOPHOS XG**, and **XAB IO**, each with an "Add component..." sub-entry. Under "Approved for the computers," two PCs are checked: **IMAGING-PC** and **IMAGING-PC2**; **KALLISSVR1** is listed but unchecked. The active tab is **"Local approvals"** and available action buttons on the right include: Add component, Delete component, Change Name, Configure, Functional test, Software update, Device info, and Details — with **"Functional test"** appearing grayed out/inactive.

That device with the 3D Icon works properly, but if they click on the first icon we have the issue there, first option is for xrays only right? Maybe the device is not registered anymore?

**SIDEXIS software (Sirona)** — 3D scan workflow screen for Patient 1, dated \*03/20/03. **On-screen message:** *"System is ready for exposure. Now you can release the exposure. Please ensure correct diaphragm setting on X-ray tube assembly of 3D device!"* **Numeric readout:** *"Number of exposures at currently available capacity: 2105"* — Status indicator box (upper right) shows an empty green-bordered rectangle and an active **yellow warning triangle (⚠)** icon; a toolbar icon labeled **"3D"** is highlighted/selected on the left panel.

im not sure if I understand the problem. The 1st icon is for the sensor xrays, the 2nd is PAN and the 3rd is for 3D. Which one are you referring to?
Tech A 2025-01-14 14:05
1st one is the one that doesn't work, I just tested the 3rd one and worked, that galileos device is for 3d right?
Tech C 2025-01-14 14:07
the 2nd and 3rd icons are for the same device - pan machine just different modes. the 1st one is for the sensor, so it has nothing to do with the galileos machine. are they having issues with sensor xrays or pan?
Tech A 2025-01-14 14:07
sensor xrays
Tech C 2025-01-14 14:07
what kind of sensors do they use?
Tech C 2025-01-14 14:07
and who is this for?
Tech A 2025-01-14 14:09
I'm double checking with them, but I think that this one

**Device Manager entry** showing a device listed under the **"Imaging devices"** category. The device is identified as **"XIOS Plus USB Module (x64)"** and displays no error indicators (no yellow warning triangle or red X), suggesting the driver is loaded and the device is recognized normally by the operating system.

check if that is shown in the sidexis manager
Tech A 2025-01-14 14:11
Here?
Tech A 2025-01-14 14:11
It's not registered if it's there
Tech C 2025-01-14 14:11
you have a separate tab for sensors
Tech A 2025-01-14 14:13
oh yes
Tech A 2025-01-14 14:13
it's installed
Tech A 2025-01-14 14:13
(no text)

The "Configuration of the X-ray Components" window displays the **Sensors** tab listing four installed sensors with the following serial numbers/Sensor IDs: **05003355, 05003948, 05008866, and 05009186**; the "Installed sensors" field shows a value of **6**. A Notepad window is open in the foreground displaying the text **"05009186"**, suggesting this serial number has been copied or is being referenced separately. No error messages are visible, but the installed sensor count of **6** does not match the **4** sensors shown in the list.
Tech C 2025-01-14 14:13
ok, then determine if its just one sensor issue or multiple
Tech C 2025-01-14 14:13
how its connected
Tech A 2025-01-14 14:14
only that one
Tech C 2025-01-14 14:14
maybe move the sensors around
Tech A 2025-01-14 14:14
by usb
Tech C 2025-01-14 14:14
is there a USB extension?
Tech A 2025-01-14 14:15
it goes directly to the computer
Tech A 2025-01-14 14:18
She told me that the sensor has this I think, but there's only 1 light lid up that's green
image/png image.png
**Visible Details:** The image shows a **navy blue oval/egg-shaped handheld device** bearing the **"Sirona" brand label** in gold and white text on the lower front face. Two small **indicator openings or sensor ports** are visible near the top center of the device — one appears circular and one crescent-shaped. The device has a **U-shaped mounting clip or cradle bracket** at the bottom; no visible damage, error codes, serial numbers, or illuminated indicators are present in this image.
Tech A 2025-01-14 14:18
she always have a red light too
Tech C 2025-01-14 14:18
sirona sensors have 2 connections - sensor to the box and from thre box to the PC
Tech C 2025-01-14 14:19
one lightis for the PC conenction and another is for the sensor conenction
Tech C 2025-01-14 14:19
which one is green?
Tech A 2025-01-14 14:19
the one on the bottom
Tech A 2025-01-14 14:19
the u shaped one
Tech A 2025-01-14 14:20
sensor is not being recognized then right?
Tech C 2025-01-14 14:20
ok, so the sensor is not being detected. have them take a box forem another room or move this sensor to another room
Tech A 2025-01-14 14:24
Ok i got it now, looks like the sensor is not being recognized
Tech A 2025-01-14 14:25
If we connect another sensor there we have the other light on
Tech A 2025-01-14 14:27
well, we plugged the sensor again, as it was before originally, and now it works -.-
