Guys, for SmileLab, they use Apteryx to view images on Carestack, is not working in the entire office (except the planmeca) - When I click on Configure to add Apteryx again, is asking me for a path, when I browse to the Planmeca C drive, I'm not seeing the xvassist.exe which is used, any ideas where I can look?

**Screen capture of a dental/medical practice management interface.**
A patient record is open for **Hong, Seoyun (ID: 11692)**, age 28y 11m, Female. A warning notification reads: **"CareStack Link is not configured to any clinical software. Please click on the button below to configure."** A **"Configure"** button is visible in the lower right of the alert, and an **"Open Apteryx"** button is present in the upper right of the patient panel.

So, I can get there, but what should I specify as path under carestack?
As per carestack the path should have the XVassistant.exe - but when browsing to that path to add it, I do not see an XVassistant.exe - or Data Grabber would act as the link here? O.o

Tech A

Yup, it just happened all of a sudden out of nowhere
So they explained me that last Thursday (2 days ago) this exact same thing happened, but after 20 mins it was self resolved, but today it hasn't so they called in

The Planmeca computer works fine because it opens the XVcapture to take images, and the other workstations they should be able to see the images but I'm here trying to put everything together

so planmeca uses recapture and amd wks using xvassistant

Isn’t this office fully cloud? If the last time it got auto resolved maybe its issue from carestack side?
Tech A
2025-01-18 20:55
Nothing Apteryx related 🫤
Tech A
2025-01-18 20:56
Makes sense, so should I tell them this is on Care stack end and would be good to wait?
Tech C
2025-01-18 20:57
Yes, especially since nothing changed from there and and all of a sudden it stops working and also you said the same thing happened on Thursday
Tech C
2025-01-18 20:57
We don’t back up the office since it’s all cloud so the settings are probably all from their end

If we look at the Planmeca the button works, everything is okay here, except the "loading images" that's not showing on any computer so could be
I'll let them know then that this could be more on Care Stack side then

The screen displays a dental/medical imaging software interface (appears to be Apteryx or similar radiograph viewer) for patient **Calabrese, Nga (23398)**, a 50-year-old female. The main content area shows a **"Loading Images…"** message, indicating the image retrieval process is in progress or stalled. A red cursor/arrow annotation is visible in the upper right of the content pane, and a red underline mark appears beneath the loading text.

Alright, they're aware now so, if anything they will check with Carestack, they're going to wait a little bit to see if it self resolves
